The airport

With an economy focused on agriculture, the extraction of rubber and Brazil nuts, in addition to livestock farming, Altamira is a hub in the center-south region of Pará, in the north of the country. In this context, the city's Interstate Airport acts as an important link between other states in the country and the Transamazônica region.
