Check-in

What is check-in?

It can be done at the airline counter, online, through mobile apps, or at self-service kiosks at the airports.

After check-in, passengers should proceed to the designated boarding gate at the specified time provided by the airline.

Do not wait until the last minute to have your check-in, as the closing time for in-person check-in may vary between airlines and depends on the type of flight (domestic or international). Remember that other passengers on the flight also need to complete the check-in process. Contact the airline if you have any questions.

Please note that check-in is the last opportunity for passengers to request the correction of their spelling if there is any error on the name on the airline ticket. The boarding pass should be printed correctly.

I checked in online, what should I do with my baggage?

If a passenger has checked in online and needs to check baggage, they should proceed to the check-in counter with the required advance notice indicated on the flight ticket or the boarding pass itself. Some airlines have dedicated counters for baggage check-in.

If the passenger only has carry-on baggage and it complies with the rules for transport in the aircraft cabin, they should proceed directly to the boarding gate with the required documents and boarding pass at the scheduled time.

How early should I arrive at the airport before the flight?

Passengers should arrive for check-in at the time specified by the airline. Usually, the recommended timeframe is at least one hour before domestic flights and two hours before international flights. Please consult your airline in advance.

How can I find out my flight schedule?

Monitors located at various points in the airport terminal provide updated flight information. It is essential for passengers to stay alert to the information as flights can be subject to changes by the airline.

How should I handle the time difference between the country of origin and destination?

The tickets and airline websites indicate the local time of departure in the country of origin and the arrival time of the flight in the destination country. If you have any doubts, please consult the airline.
