Located in the Triângulo Mineiro, 481 km from the state capital, Uberaba has a strong services sector, in addition to three industrial districts of great economic relevance. The city, known worldwide as the capital of zebu cattle, is also the largest agricultural producer in the state. The municipality annually promotes Expo Zebu, the largest zebu fair in the world, responsible for stimulating the local and surrounding economy.

Uberaba is also proud to be the Brazilian municipality with the largest number of recorded dinosaur species. At the Peirópolis Paleontological Site, tourists have the opportunity to explore this geological heritage, which stands out not only for its quantity, but also for its diversity and degree of preservation of thousands of fossils dating back 80 million years.
