Both on domestic and international flights, the passenger's identification document, as well as the boarding pass, should be promptly available to be presented to the airline staff when boarding the aircraft. Please make sure you have a valid photographic identification. 

When preparing for your trip, we recommend to passengers to check all necessary travelling documents with the airline, especially in the case of children.

For domestic flights, passengers can present the original or a certified copy of one of the following documents:

- Identity Card (RG);
- National Driver's License (CNH);
- Work and Social Security Card;
- Identity Card issued by a Professional Council or Federation, as long as it holds a photograph (OAB, CREA, and others);
- Passport.

Identification documents in electronic format may be presented by passengers to the airlines at the time of their boarding on domestic flights. To be accepted, in addition to being valid throughout the Brazilian territory, these documents (DNI, CNH-e, e-Título, etc.) must contain a photo that allows the passenger's identification.

For international flights, a valid Brazilian passport must be presented. In trips to Argentina, Uruguay, Paraguay, Bolivia, Chile, Peru, Ecuador, Colombia, and Venezuela, the Civil Identity Card (RG) issued by the Public Security Secretariats of the States or the Federal District is also accepted.

In case of theft or loss of documents, a police report issued within the last 60 days will be accepted.

For international travel, it will be necessary to obtain a new passport. If you are in a foreign country, contact the Brazilian embassy or another Brazilian diplomatic representation.

The rules for boarding with children vary according to age and circumstances - whether they are traveling with their parents or legal guardians, grandparents or close relatives, a person over 18 authorized by the parents, or even unaccompanied.

Therefore, check with your airline the necessary documents for your specific case.

Children under 12 years old, traveling with their parents or legal guardians, can board domestic flights with the Birth Certificate (original or certified copy).

Children aged 12 and more, whether traveling with their parents or legal guardians, are required to present an Identity Card and a document proving relations.

On international flights, children of all ages need at least a passport to board.
It is important to note that no child may travel outside the city where they reside unaccompanied by their parents or legal guardians without express legal authorization.

Foreign passengers willing to board must present one of the following documents within its validity period:

- Passport;
- Foreigner Identification Card (RNE);
- Diplomatic or Consular Identity Card; or
- Another travel document resulting from international agreements established by Brazil.

When travelling within Brazil, the CIE (Foreigner Identification Card) request protocol issued by the Federal Police Department can be accepted as a substitute for the original document for a maximum period of 180 days from the date of issuance. 

Foreigners with permanent visas may be dismissed from replacing the CIE and may present any of the documents accepted for Brazilian citizens.
